Important City News!

A new law has recently gone into effect that requires all homeowners who plan any kind of permanent external construction to request a building permit from the City.  This includes driveways, swimming pools, decks, outdoor buildings, etc.  The Hidden Springs ACC Committee will be amending the approval process for home improvement projects to make sure we are in compliance with these new City guidelines.

Dear Homeowner ,

A belated Happy New Year to you!  Now that the holidays are well behind us we are looking forward to a successful year in 2008 for the Hidden Springs Ranch HOA which also means there will be openings for new Board Members positions.

Please put a note on your calendars to "SAVE THE DATE" for Saturday, March 29th @ 10.00am at the Pool Pavilion where we will host our annual HOA Meeting.  You will hear from our President, Administrator and each of the Committee Chairs on this past year's activities.  It is also a great opportunity to find out how you can serve as a Board Member, participate in one of our Committees and discuss ideas and concerns for our wonderful neighborhood.

We are a self-managed Association and your willingness to participate in HOA activities is key to our success.  If you are interested in serving on the Board starting in April, please call the HOA number or send us an email - we would love to hear from you.

In closing I look forward to seeing you next month and wish you and your family a happy, healthy and successful 2008.

Best regards,
Robin Grace
HSRHOA President

Annual Tiger 5K Run

Saturday April 19th
Hidden Springs Ranch Sub-Division
Runner
For residents who have lived in Hidden Springs Ranch for a while you will be familiar with the annual Tiger 5K Run which raises funds for middle and high school bands.  For those of you fairly new to the neighborhood, this event is a fun one for the whole family and we encourage you to register and participate.  For those of us who are not quite as athletic, it is fun to come out and observe the proceedings including the performance by the marching band!

The actual run will start at 9.00am and registration begins at 8.00am.  You can pre-register online.  After the run there is a short award ceremony and the event will be over by about 10.30am.  During this time, parts of Broken Lance Drive will be blocked off to thru-traffic so please plan accordingly.  Participants and visitors will be directed by traffic attendants to park in the softball fields thereby reducing traffic through our neighborhood and to eliminate parking on the streets.  For more details of the run, please visit their website 8th Annual Tiger 5K, Dripping Springs, TX
