Living with
Deer in Hidden Springs
Ranch
Bambi was recently overhead
saying "Please don't feed me!!!" and here's
why:
Although a favorite food
for deer, corn ranks very low for nutritional value. The
white-tailed deer need a daily diet that contains 16% protein,
corn contains about 8% and is high in carbohydrates.
In
addition, it is often toxic. Aflatoxin is present in
much of the corn sold for "deer corn" where it is
produced by a fungus when corn is grown under stress.
Consumption can make animals ill and they often die.
ALL OF US CAN HELP
ENCOURAGE GOOD HEALTH OF DEER BY NOT FEEDING
THEM!! |

Dear
Resident,
The Holiday Season is once again upon us and we
are all looking forward to spending some special time
with our loved ones.
This time of year is an extremely busy one but I
do hope you can make time for our annual neighborhood
holiday party scheduled for Sunday, December 9th from
4-6pm at the Pool Pavilion. It's a chance to say
hi to some familiar faces as well as some new ones and
should be a lot of fun. More details are
below.

Don't Forget!!
HIDDEN SPRINGS RANCH HOA CHRISTMAS
PARTY
Sunday, December 9th from 4-6pm at
the Pool Pavilion, Broken Lance Dr
Come join your neighbors, greet
familiar faces and meet some new ones to ring in the
holidays. There will be snacks, drinks, music and
chestnuts roasting on an open fire (minus the chestnuts
roasting!). All ages are welcome to join in the
fun.
If you would like to bring a snack,
cookies or candy, just drop it by at the beginning of
the party.
